How to prepare and export YOUR stems for Mixing.

guidelines

  • Please name each track appropriately

  • Be sure to allow some headroom on each individual track. -6db is standard practice, but as long as nothing is peaking above 0db we’re all set

  • Export a couple seconds of silence at the end of your track to catch any reverb tails

  • Export as 24bit wav file, 44.1kHz sample rate

  • Make sure dither is set to ‘No Dither’ and Normalise is OFF

  • If using Google Drive to submit files, please set the folder to allow access before sending
